Parkinsons are a dynamic firm of Chartered Certified Accountants with over 20 years of experience. Our clients appreciate the personal touch that we afford them and that is the main reason why they tend to stay with us. All of our clients receive regular partner contact, which is key to us providing a timely, relevant and cost effective tailored service.

As a business our focus is on growth, but with a very different style. We believe that a real personal service can only be delivered through small economic units that retain the flexibility to adapt to clients ever changing requirements.

Our clients range from large private companies to self employed individuals, but with the emphasis on owner managed businesses. We also act for a considerable number of private clients.

We offer the full range of services that you would expect from a growing practice. We are often the sounding board for clients looking for clear impartial advice. We always listen carefully to clients and tailor our service to suit you.

We are always willing to meet potential new clients for an initial discussion to explore your requirements and to explain how we think we can help. In short, we try to maintain traditional standards of service but make full use of today's technical innovations to improve the efficiency of our service.

Our fees are competitive with an annual fixed fee structure agreed in advance. New client fees are fixed for 3 years, so no inflationary rises! We do not keep timesheets, so you can be assured that there isn’t a meter running in the background when you talk to us!
We encourage you to ask, “what will it cost”. You’ll always be in control. If we ever try to bill you for something we have not agreed with you up front, we will waive our fees for the year completely.


We will always look for ways to reduce your tax burden and will advise on any schemes which may help you to achieve this. This could for example include changing your trading entity from a Sole Trader/Partnership to a Limited Company. This may also have the advantage of extracting some tax free cash from the new company due to valuation of the goodwill inherent in your business.

We will never be late, so you will never receive any fines! Your tax returns and accounts will always be filed on time. We will prepare your accounts within 30 days or we will waive our fees so you don’t pay a penny.

You will always deal solely with a partner who will ensure that all your needs are met. You can be happy that one person is in control of your affairs.

As part of our fixed fee service you get unlimited telephone support at no extra cost. We ensure we reply to every telephone message the day you call us, normally within 90 minutes.

We will always explain things in terms you will understand. Not everyone is an accountant after all. For your convenience, we are always more than happy to meet with you at your premises or home at no extra cost to review accounts and deal with other matters. We will even pick up your records and drop them off again when your accounts are completed.
